Heavy industry runs on diesel generators, and most of them will keep running for decades. Decarbonizing them usually means replacing equipment that still works, and that cost is why most operators wait. Kapture was developed to take a different route. Founded by Raj Bagri in Australia in 2023, the company builds a modular system that retrofits onto existing generators, capturing up to 90% of CO₂ at the source and turning it into building materials. They were five people going up against much larger players, with big events coming and little to show up with.

We built a clean, direct system focused on the end product rather than the emissions, steering clear of the ecological clichés the category runs on because these buyers have heard every green claim and trust a product more than a promise. Refined enough to establish authority against the incumbents and uncluttered enough to grow without a redesign. Kapture has since grown the team, raised investment from larger companies, and kept showing up in rooms it would have been easy to overlook them in.
